When you thought that the Four Seasons Silicon Valley had just reached perfection, the luxurious hotel chain just took it to a whole new level. This past Friday the Four Seasons in the heart of Silicon Valley celebrated its reinvention, with exciting new design transformations of guest rooms and public spaces. The much anticipated reveal, highlighted ample newly updated surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel.
I had the pleasure of previewing the space at the reveal party, and I can definitely say that it is now quite the bespoke hotel, still reigning as the most exquisite one in the Palo Alto area. You would think that a hotel only 9 years young would continue to bask in its panache, but as you would expect from the world renowned Four Seasons brand, the spaces were transformed and updated to keep up with the lifestyle of its clientele, and to further enhance the natural beauty and technology influences of the Bay Area, by marrying the tones of gray with, subtle metal accents, streamlined furniture, soft woods tones, with a sleek luxurious and modern feel.
The guest rooms are very well appointed. Each with custom sun blocking multidimensional drapes, and features chaise lounges, plush Egyptian cotton bedding, generous bath area and exquisite artwork from local artisans.
The impressive suites can actually double as a satellite office with all the necessities needed to run a high tech company, or all the luxuries that a girls night out or family staycation require, to make the stay luxurious. These suites are roomier, with ultra cool generous tables, great lighting, comfy beds and pillows. Whether staying alone or with friends or family, the rooms are better experienced than described.
The meeting and events areas on the ground floor were also transformed to feature modern enhanced spaces with air walls, state of the art projectors and screens, controlled lighting for the perfect ambiance, textured walls, stylish carpet, swanky furnishing and sleek comfortable chairs. There you can host an intimate wedding for four or a conference for 200. Whatever your event needs are, I am sure that food from the hotel’s restaurant, Quattro, will be sure to make your experience that much special.
On the third floor there are quite a few state of the art gym equipment in the fitness center, some of which is not only user friendly, but could also act as your own personal trainers, and allow you to save your workout on a USB drive. There is also a fabulous spa with coed lounges and boasts of seven treatment rooms. The Four Seasons spa is highly regarded in the area and with the new upgrades, it is a must have experience.
The outdoor pool space at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley houses a 50 ft pool with a hot tub and surrounded by bright orange cabanas. The great thing about the facilities here is that even if you are not a guest, you can purchase a $50 daily pass per person, and bring the entire family to enjoy the pool, hot tub, spa and fitness facility. However, with the purchase of a spa treatment, you have free access to all these amenities. Consider it the perfect spot for a family weekend getaway, or a girls day or night out, or just a great spot for the business traveler who wants to be pampered or to unwind. The pool attendants will make it worth the trip. They are extremely friendly, accommodating and they know their drinks. If you go, ask for the Palo Alto Day Dream Cocktail. It did not only relax my taste buds, but made me want to come back for more.
The great thing is, the Four Seasons Silicon Valley offers a few weekend events like Women and Whiskey, Family Supper and a few surprised parties, Check out their website for more information Four Seasons Events.
