College Terrace Market Opens in Palo Alto
A new grocery store that has added to this list of fantastic places to shop for locally grown foods and locally sourced products, opens here in Palo Alto. The long awaited College Terrace Market located 2100 El Camino Real, had its soft opening this past Wednesday, and will officially host its grand opening in two weeks.
This supermarket has packed a lot in the small footprint. There is a bakery that is operated by pastry chef, Isabella, who has a passion for making delicious pastries, cakes, and bread. She uses her own recipes and able to make custom treats for clients. There is also a wine section that is run by wine expert and manager, Bob, who is an industry veteran and has worked at local supermarkets like Draegers and Miki’s. The selection embraces wines from around the world and cost ranges from $3.99 to upwards of $50. There is also an ice cream parlor, café, salad bar, fresh produce section, a deli, meat department, organic products and so much more.
Sandra and other friendly check-out staff are excited to serve you. With cool aisle names like College, Oxford, and Stanford, you will feel at home. Store hours are Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays through Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is ample parking underground.
