Great news Palo Alto, Lemonade Restaurant is set to open this Friday, June 24, at the newly redesigned 151 University Avenue location.
This will be Lemonade’s second of 6 planned locations in the Bay Area. The first opened two months ago in the Buena Yerba area in San Francisco, and more locations to open in Walnut Creek, Burlingame, Sunset and West Portal. With 22 other locations in Southern California – Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County, Lemonade is now heading North to share its highly popular restaurant concept with our Bay Area residents.
Lemonade Palo Alto will offer its innovative fast casual dining concept supported by its signature refreshing lemonades in the heart of Downtown Palo Alto. Its chef-driven menu which boasts of fresh, healthy, mix-and-match selections and is focused on casual dining, without compromising high-quality ingredients and taste is the main concept behind Lemonade’s growing popularity. It helps supports the health-conscious, easy going Northern California lifestyle.
Lemonade, which is the mastermind of owners/Founders Chef Alan Jackson and Ian Olsen, will boast of showcasing a Northern California-focused menu, that is influenced globally, and will also reflect the changing seasons. Committed to encouraging people to “eat colorfully”, Lemonade’s anchor salads will offer a wide selection of healthy options flanked by their slow cooked, braised meats, as well as healthy staples in its cafeteria style set up. It will boast of quite a few vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Be sure to check out their sandwiches and desserts.
The Palo Alto Summer menu will include:
- Yellow Wax Beans and Pickled Green Asparagus with Goat Cheese Dressing
- Honey Kiss Melon with Candy Cane Beets, Baby Spinach, Blue Cheese, and Hazelnut Vinaigrette
- Ahi Tuna Avocado Poke with Icicle Radish, Citrus, and Sesame
- Chinese Long Beans with Summer Plums and Hoisin Vinaigrette
The restaurant building, which previously was home to La Boulange is designed by a cutting edge California-based designer, Ilan Dei, and offers three seating options: the main dining area, the rotunda, and an outdoor patio. The 2500 square foot space is uniquely designed to reflect the wonderful Palo Alto Community.
